Is it possible to solder PMC to silver using an iron? If so, what kind of solder and flux should I use?

Did you try to use a hotter soldering iron - maybe that is the problem

that it isn't heating enough. You also need some flux if you didn't use

I was trying to add a few layers of some pmc to an old existing piece that
looked like it was formed from a flat piece of silver, & it didn't quite
form as cohesive a piece as I thought it would, so I basically covered the
whole piece. You could get some more liquid paste in a syringe & make a
loop similar to a jump ring - that is what I wound up doing in place of a
jump ring & it worked out well.

I am basically a beginner with pmc but it is sure fun. I got most of the
supplies & information from Delphi Glass & PMC Supply. Hope this helps &
you get it to work out successfully.
